Stratus Environmental Solutions, Inc. was incorporated and began operations in 1996 in the Chicago area. With a broad base of air quality experience in traditional industrial manufacturing operations as well is in pharmaceuticals and electronics, our client base grew quickly based on client preference for flexible service options combined with strong technical expertise.

In 1998 Stratus Environmental teamed with Olver Laboratories of Blacksburg, Virginia to provide air compliance services to Olver Labs clientele in the Southeast. The teaming arrangement brought new manufacturing expertise to Olver Labs, resulting in a significant expansion of their client base in the Southeast. At that time Dean Kaiser of Stratus Environmental also began managing consulting operations at Olver Labs as their Director of Technical Services. Concurrent with the purchase of Olver Laboratories by a third-party laboratory in 2003, Stratus Environmental purchased assets of the Technical Services Division of Olver Labs and now operates independently in Blacksburg.

Today Stratus continues to serve a broad-based manufacturing clientele in the Midwest, Southeast, and internationally. Our industry experience has garnered recognition among several manufacturing organizations, and has resulted in national recognition by the American Home Furnishings Alliance. Stratus has provided active technical support related to the development of federal Maximum Achievable Control Technology (MACT) standards, including support for litigation involving the Boiler and Process Heater MACT and the Commercial and Industrial Waste Incinerator (CISWI) rule.
